Renew Your Glow: Professional Microneedling at Complexion Perfexion

Reclaim your skin’s youthful vitality with Microneedling, the gold standard in non-invasive skin rejuvenation. Also known as Percutaneous Collagen Induction (PCI), this treatment works with your body’s natural biology to reverse the signs of aging and repair skin damage from the inside out.

Why Your Skin Needs a Collagen Boost:

As we age, our natural production of collagen and elastin—the proteins responsible for firmness and elasticity—begins to slow down. This leads to:

* Thinning, fragile skin
* Fine lines and deep wrinkles
* Loss of that "supple" youthful bounce

How Microneedling Works:

Our advanced microneedling device uses an oscillating head with ultra-fine needles to create controlled "micro-injuries." While that might sound intimidating, these tiny channels serve two powerful purposes:

* Natural Renewal: They trigger your body’s healing response, stimulating a surge of new collagen and fibroblast activity.
* Supercharged Absorption: They create direct pathways into the dermis, increasing the absorption of potent skincare by up to 300%.

The Complexion Perfexion Difference: Growth Factor Therapy

We don't just "needle" the skin; we nourish it. At Complexion Perfexion, every session includes a high-quality growth factor serum applied generously during the treatment. By driving this serum deep into the skin, we accelerate:
* Skin Remodeling: Dramatically reducing the appearance of acne scars and texture.
* Thicker, Healthier Skin: Strengthening the skin's foundation for a lasting glow.
* Total Rejuvenation: Fading fine lines and evening out skin tone.

It is recommended for people with acne and surgical scars, fine lines and wrinkles, large pores, skin discoloration, and generally thin skin.

I have dark skin, can this be safely used for me?

Since microneedling is not a light-based therapy, it can be used on any skin shade,   Pigment alteration can occur, but it  is a rare side-effect.

Is this treatment painful?

Topical anesthetic is applied to the skin 20-30 minutes prior to the procedure.  With manual microneedling, the device is glided over the skin while the cosmeceutical is applied.

How many treatment area recommended and how long does it take to see results?

In most cases a series of 3 to 6 micro-needling procedures is necessary to see most favorable results of this skin care treatment. You will see a noticeable change in skin with 2 to 3 weeks.

What can I expect after a treatment?

Immediately following the procedure the skin will feel tight, dry, swollen, and sensitive to the touch. It will also look and feel sunburned. The sensitivity and redness will diminish significantly within 24 hours.   Tiny pinpoint scabs may form 24-72 hours after treatment and will shed over the next 3-5 days.  There also can be mild swelling.

What are some of the common side effects?

Microneedling can cause redness that looks and feels similar to a sunburn. This redness usually returns to normal within a few hours for manual microneedling, and lasts about 24-48 hours after radio frequency microneedling. Side effects of pigment alteration can occur, although rare. You may feel sore and tender for about one day.

How do I choose between manual microneedling or radio frequency microneedling?

There are various reasons why one or the other may be best for you.  We recommend that you schedule a consultation with our Nurse Practitioner to discuss which is right for you.
